Council denies application to demolish Heritage Triple Dormitory building at Camp 30
Council has turned down an application to demolish one of the historic buildings at 2020 Lambs Road, known as the former Boys Training School and Second World War Prisoner of War Camp (Camp 30). The property is designated as a National Historic Site by the Historic and Monuments Board of Canada and is also designated under Section 29 of the Ontario Heritage Act for its cultural and architectural heritage.
